What if I am just outside your service area?
Call and ask. We will tell you straight whether we can reach you in a reasonable time. If we cannot, we will say so rather than take the job and leave you waiting ninety minutes — and where we can, we will point you at someone closer.
Why do some cities have faster arrival times?
Because they are closer to where our trucks sit and have better freeway access. Detroit, Warren, Southfield and Dearborn run 25 to 35 minutes; the outer edges of the footprint like Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti run 40 to 60. We publish the honest range per city rather than one flattering number for everywhere.
Do you tow outside Michigan?
Yes, for scheduled long-distance transport. Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis and Toledo are routine routes. That is booked ahead with a flat written quote rather than dispatched as an emergency.
Can you find me if I do not know where I am?
Usually. Give the dispatcher the freeway, the direction you were travelling and the last exit or mile marker you remember passing. That is enough in the large majority of cases. Your phone's location share works too, and dispatch can talk you through sending it.
